She was born and raised near Houston, Texas. Growing up in a small town, Baggett was on the cheerleading squad, played basketball and participated in track.
Baggett originally aspired to be a traditional model, but was turned down because of her height (5′2″). Her big break came when she auditioned for well known photographer Harvey Butts.
